Sanctuary Point Library - Project Paused The Sanctuary Point Library project has been placed on pause, in accordance with Council Meeting MIN24.148 (25/03/2024), until Council’s financial position improves.  Shoalhaven City Council is committed to delivering a district library in Sanctuary Point. Kind regards, Community Engagement Team Shoalhaven City Council EDITOR'S NOTES: Well it appears all the funding allocated to ensure this project goes through with the new revamped plans, has run out of money. My understanding ever since the project has been in place - it may have costed Council $2M so far. So, now this has been placed on the 'Back Burner'. Is that what we need as Council got the entire community, led by my the current  Green's Party Mayor, Amanada Findley, why didn't she do her sums up properly before, instead of leading our community astray? Secondly,  They are naming it 'Sanctuary Point Library', I thought it was 'The bay & Basin Library'? Click here for the previous post
