Spotlighting the newest releases gaining momentum across the country, the Airplay Charts are a weekly record of the artists being championed by local broadcasters and discovered by curious listeners.

Genesis Owusu is making waves across community radio this week, with "BLESSED ARE THE MEEK" landing at #4 on the Community Radio Hip Hop/R&B Airplay Chart.

Taken from his latest album REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE, the track blends soulful grooves with Genesis' sharp lyricism and a message about resilience and positive action. If you'd like to hear more from the award-winning artist, check out his extended interview with Baseline on Triple R, where he dives deeper into the ideas behind the album.

Meanwhile, country-pop duo Mak & Shar continue their climb up the Community Radio Airplay Charts, with "Take Our Time On Forever" reaching #4 on the Regional National Airplay Chart this week.

Singing together since their early teens, Mak & Shar have built a loyal following thanks to their heartfelt songwriting and effortless harmonies. Their latest single is a warm, feel-good love song that has clearly struck a chord with community broadcasters around the country. Fans in NSW can catch the duo live across a run of dates through July and August.
