Community Radio Charts Update - AMRAP

 

View Web Version Spotlighting the newest releases gaining momentum across the country, the Airplay Charts are a weekly record of the artists being championed by local broadcasters and discovered by curious listeners.   Genesis Owusu is making waves across community radio this week, with "BLESSED ARE THE MEEK" landing at #4 on the Community Radio Hip Hop/R&B Airplay Chart.   Taken from his latest album REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE, the track blends soulful grooves with Genesis' sharp lyricism and a message about resilience and positive action. Their latest single is a warm, feel-good love song that has clearly struck a chord with community broadcasters around the country. Fans in NSW can catch the duo live across a run of dates through July and August.

Spotlighting the newest releases gaining momentum across the country, the Airplay Charts are a weekly record of the artists being championed by local broadcasters and discovered by curious listeners.   Coming in hot at #10 on the Hip Hop/R&B charts this week is Eora/Sydney Hip-Hop artist Youngn Lipz. The recent drop “2 Shots” is taking cues from the smoothness of 2000s global pop, with just the right amount of trap, showing that this Western Sydney artist is poised for big things ahead.   Making some noise across community radio is Gunaikurnai/Gippsland based two-piece Ally Row. This dynamic duo have been winning hearts and endearing ears with their tender twang. Their recent single "Tail Lights" doesn't disappoint, it's a bittersweet number about new beginnings. We could only hope for a soundtrack so humble. Find them sitting at #4 on the Regional Charts and at #2 on the Country/Blues/Roots Airplay Charts this week!
