You all know that posting on Social media - can be daunting! We, all have to be careful of how we promote items of interest to these communities and expect both complimentary and negative feedback to happen. Positive feedback on a post could simply be liking or loving posts or even disliking them.
Positive feedback is when you share posts on social media and
the original post receives a fair amount of seen (or viewed). In saying that, not all that viewed the post - read the entire post. So after 271 views on the original post, published on buses, suggesting 50 per cent read the post approximately 135 community members read the post and community groups were interested. It raised discussions and real-time anxiety dropped with some commuters as they have been using software applications that make them aware of our real-time bus localities. So out of 135 that read the post if 65 people now catch these bus services, compared to before, we are heading in the right direction.
The original post here was inspired by Raul Arregui (a few years ago) when I first arrived here. I then put it on the 'Backburner' and now bring it out. Thank you to Bruce & Jenny and their Sanctuary Point Community Champions (as they were then known) for they were instrumental in conducting a community survey and presenting the result to the community. Public Transport was listed as 2nd by the community as a matter of importance for the Champions to work on.
*This was the Sanctuary Point Community Champions Community Survey Project Result.
Thank you to Christine and Gwen from the Sanctuary Point Community Champions, who used my original post (with permission), to make our community more aware of what is available to the general public, and to catch buses easier, for our wider community.
Anyway Here (Page 13) is the online version for you to read. You can pick up your copy of it at various shops around the community
