IPART has made decisions on special variations and minimum rates
Today IPART released its decisions on special variations from eight councils to increase their income from rates above the rate peg. IPART also approved four minimum rates applications.
IPART reached its decisions by assessing each application against the OLG’s criteria in the special variation and minimum rates guidelines.
IPART appreciates the large number of submissions it received from stakeholders. These were carefully considered in addition to the OLG criteria in making its decision.
