Suicide Prevention Australia is seeking nominations from members for the position of Elected Director on the Suicide Prevention Australia Board. There will be ONE vacancy for Board Director positions for election by representatives of Suicide Prevention Australia Member Organisations only at the 2025 Annual General Meeting on 23 October 2025. Nominees are required to be a representative of a Suicide Prevention Australia Member Organisation or an Associate Member or in the process of becoming one. The following Suicide Prevention Australia Board Director, has completed their current term, and is eligible to stand for re-election: Candidates with lived experience and/or who are members of groups particularly exposed to the risk of suicide, such as First Nations, LGBTIQ+, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Rural, Regional and Remote, are also encouraged. Candidates will be asked, in their candidate statement, to demonstrate relevant experience which could contribute to the long-term success of Suicide Prevention Australia.
