After the presentations, you will be welcome to ask questions and will walk away with a much deeper understanding of why we need to fight this technology, and what we should be doing with our waste instead.

Friends, we are coming to a town near you soon to dispel the myth of safe clean EU waste incineration and talk about the real Zero Waste Solutions for Australia's waste management crisis.
Our lifestyle choices alone will never fix the systemic failures of our linear model of production, consumption and disposal...its time to #Breakfreefromplastic, #eliminatetoxics and build #zerowaste systems to drive the #circulareconomy.
The federal government (and most states) just want to keep business as usual for the fossil fuel and petrochemical plastics industries by burning our waste in deadly incinerators, cement kilns, paper mills or other combustion industries, here in Australia and in vulnerable countries in the Asia Pacific region. Financing such a climate polluting industry in the global south makes no sense while we face catastrophic climate change.
Countries all over the world are showing that Zero Waste Solutions not only work, are cheaper and more effective but are a critical part of addressing climate change.
