Update Service NSW

You can now apply for a $50 Stay NSW Voucher if you're 18 and over. The voucher can go towards the cost of booking a stay while helping support NSW accommodation providers impacted by COVID-19. You can use it at hotels, motels, resorts, caravan parks, camping grounds and more. Find out which accommodation providers accept Stay NSW Vouchers and start planning your break away. You have until 9 October 2022 to use your Stay NSW Voucher.

Changes to COVID-19 rules The following restrictions have now eased: Mask rules reduced Wearing a mask indoors is recommended when you can't maintain a safe distance from others and for customer facing retail staff. It will help to protect you, and those around you from respiratory viruses. You now only need to wear a mask on public transport, planes, and indoors at airports, hospitals, aged and disability care facilities, corrections facilities, and indoor music festivals with more than 1,000 people. Larger music festivals There's no limit to the number of people allowed at music festivals, and singing and dancing are permitted. You must have had at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to attend a music festival with over 1,000 people. Reduced hotel quarantine times Unvaccinated passengers are now required to enter hotel quarantine for 7 days. Non-urgent elective surgery back on the table We’ve partly returned non-urgent elective surgery to our public hospitals across NSW, which will increase in stages throughout March.

We have been advised by the NSW Government that in line with COVID-19 restrictions easing, Western Sydney bus services will now operate to a normal timetable. All bus services will operate. The past few months have been challenging and we appreciate your patience as we navigated this situation. Remember to keep physical distance from others and sit on a green dot where possible.
