Monitoring the retail electricity and gas markets in NSW IPART has released a Consultation Paper as part of our review into the retail electricity and gas markets in NSW. Each year, we monitor and report on prices, competitive dynamics, and the participation of households and small businesses in these markets. This year, we will also report on new energy products and services, including virtual power plants and demand response programs. We want to hear your views on consumers' experiences with these new energy products and services, and if there are emerging issues we should investigate. Your views will help ensure our review focuses on what matters most during the energy transition. Have Your Say by making a submission to our Consultation Paper by 22 August 2025.
