IPART Seeks Feedback on Draft Prices For Sydney Water

IPART - Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal | NSW - WaterCity of Sydney

IPART seeks feedback on draft prices for Sydney Water

Have your say on our Draft Report

IPART has today released its draft decisions on Sydney Water’s maximum prices for 2025-26 to 2029-30. Under our draft decisions, bills for a typical household would increase, on average, by $61 (or 4.6%) each year for 5 years, plus inflation.

We are seeking feedback on our draft decisions from all interested stakeholders. The feedback received will help us make our final decisions for the maximum prices Sydney Water can charge for water, wastewater, stormwater and other water-related services, to apply from 1 October 2025.

Feedback on our draft decisions can be made via our website until 23 June 2025 or by filling out a short (10 minute) customer survey to share your views on prices for Sydney Water’s services. Sydney Water customers can use the bill calculator on our website to see what our proposed prices could mean for them.

Best Regards,
IPART Sydney Water price review team
