Hello
Let’s get together to support the amazing NSW athletes we watched and cheered at the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.
Head on down to the free welcome home celebrations we’re holding at Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park this Friday 13 September from 12pm to 1.30pm.
Meet your favourite sports stars, hear their inspiring stories and enjoy the green and gold atmosphere.
Young drivers can be rewarded for safe driving
Know a P1 licence holder aged 18 to 23 who drives regularly?
They can join the SMART trial and they can be rewardedup to $120 plus have the chance to win a $100 voucher every week.
The SMART trial aims to reduce road crashes and vehicle emissions among young drivers in NSW by trialling a new app that rewards drivers for safer and more sustainable driving.
Affordable. Clean. Reliable. Energy for everyone
Solar and wind are our most affordable sources of new build energy.
As our coal-fired power stations gradually close, we’re transforming our electricity network so it can meet our future needs.
The transformation will create long-term jobs, increase opportunities for local manufacturing and bring economic benefits to local communities.
The new $50 Active and Creative Kids voucher is now available
If your household’s eligible, you can apply for Voucher 2 to help pay for sport, recreational, creative or cultural activities for your child. You can also apply for Voucher 1 if you haven’t already.
And if you haven't used any vouchers this year, you can combine Voucher 1 and Voucher 2, giving you a total of $100 to use with a registered provider.
Have your say on our latest plan to reduce plastics
We’ve just released the next stage of our plan to reduce the harm caused by single-use, unnecessary and problematic plastics in NSW.
The plan proposes a range of actions including:
phasing out plastic lollipop sticks, pizza savers and bread bag tags
introducing design standards for recyclable single-use plastic cups, food containers and lids
phasing out unnecessary plastic barrier and produce bags.
We’d like to know if you have any suggestions or concerns about the plan before it’s put into action.
Staying safe online Tips for customers
Don’t get scammed with fake payment details
Private emails, text conversations and online chats about owing money are being hacked into by scammers. They get in, pretend to be someone you know, then replace the real payment details with their own BSB and account numbers.
Before you transfer money, confirm bank details with a phone call – not SMS or email.
