Service NSW Update: Used Car checks, NSW Vouchers Expire,Strata Annual Reports, Home Safety in Winter & Quad Bikes Safety

Make sure you get what you pay for when buying a used car

Hello John

It’s now free and easy to get the true picture of a used car’s history before you make an offer.

Simply check its most recent odometer readings via our Check a vehicle registration page. You can view up to the last three previous readings for free.

If a car’s odometer reading is lower than it should be when compared to the previous readings, its odometer may have been tampered with.

A new Active and Creative Kids voucher program will start early 2024.

Strata annual reports due 30 June

Are you on a strata committee or own a strata-titled duplex? In NSW, all strata schemes must submit their 2022 strata annual report by 30 June.

Make sure you’ve submitted yours before the required time to avoid an overdue penalty. You can submit it online via the Strata Hub, or in person at a Service NSW Centre.

Getting home safe is what matters most

Quad bikes are a leading cause of death on Australian farms.

In the past 10 years, over 180 families have lost a loved one in a quad bike incident.

There are steps you can take to prevent quad bike incidents. Ride smart: insist on helmets, fit a roll bar, use active riding skills and never push a quad bike beyond its limits.

Visit SafeWork NSW for free information on how to protect yourself, your family and your farm.
