Nearly A Month Gone - It's Official -Fiona Phillips MP re-elected for Federal Member for Gilmore

Thank you! The result in Gilmore is now official with the Australian Electoral Commission declaring the poll for Gilmore today. I am extremely honoured to have been re-elected as your Member for Gilmore as part of an Albanese Labor Government.  I have been humbled by the unwavering support, kind words and well wishes from so many people over the last few weeks while we waited for the official result. The true South Coast spirit has been on display once again. I want to thank each and every member of our community for the privilege of representing you in our nation’s Parliament. We’ve been through some really tough times over the past couple of years. We’ve had to deal with drought, bushfires, floods, and the pandemic. That's why I am dedicated to ensuring the South Coast receives the funding it deserves to support local people, businesses and organisations. I am so proud of the commitments I made to the people of Gilmore during the election campaign. Commitments like fixing our roads, improving our local health services, building our resilience and preparing for natural disasters, as well as investing in local community infrastructure. I am delighted that I will be able to deliver all these important projects and more under a Labor Government to help build a better future for the South Coast.
