Shoalhaven Citizen of the Year News - Sanctuary Point Bike Bump Track! - Fran Mooney Facebook Page

Editors Notes:
Elections always provide a rainbow of promises from candidates, especially when we live in a Federally swinging seat of Gilmore. Each candidate is like Santa Claus, with his bag of gifts/ or not. (without his suit and reminders) As voters, we judge each candidate with what is promised, what has been done and hope that promises are kept. Not all promises can be kept and there are promises that will be honoured. Instead of promises, why don't we ask candidates to provide us with pledges that solidify a promise?

Dictionary. com meaning :

Promise: a declaration or assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen.
Pledge: a solemn promise or undertaking.

Anyway, congratulations Fran here is her news. I'm sure other candidates will be running to Fran with more pledges? Now, my other thought was if she wasn't Shoalhaven Citizen of the year, would she have got this?:

From Fran's Faebook Page:
