Final Report published
IPART has published its Final Report on how it determines the wholesale price of ethanol. The report includes IPART’s analysis of the retail and wholesale markets in 2020-21.
Since we commenced our price determinations in 2017, we have set the reasonable wholesale price for ethanol in line with what it would cost retailers if they had to buy it from overseas. We have decided to continue this approach to setting ethanol prices.
