Blacktown City Christmas Lights Competition

Celebrate your Christmas spirit with the annual Blacktown City Christmas Lights Competition.

Residents are encouraged to decorate their home, town house or villa or nominate their neighbour's property. With over $4,000 in cash and prizes to be won!

Nominations will close at 5 pm on Tuesday 1 December.

Mayoress Christmas Gift Appeal
Mayoress Christmas Gift Appeal

Blacktown Mayoress, Mrs Nina Bleasdale is calling on the local community to remember those less fortunate and share in the joy of Christmas by donating a gift to the annual Mayoress Christmas Gift Appeal.

Gifts are sought for children aged 0 to 16 years. Gift suggestions include new and unused toys, books,clothing and non-perishable goods. Please leave gifts unwrapped or in a gift bag for ease of distribution.

Gifts will be accepted up until 5 pm on Friday 4 December 2020.

Join us at the Mount Druitt Christmas Concert as we welcome the 2020 festive season.

Due to current COVID 19 restrictions activities for this year's concert is limited. The event will feature:

  • live stage performances
  • Christmas carols
  • visit from Santa and a photo opportunity

The annual Blacktown Christmas Concert will have something for the whole family to enjoy.

Due to current COVID 19 restrictions activities for this year's concert is limited. The event will feature:

  • Lorenzo Rositano performing christmas carols live
  • christmas band
  • Christmas carols
  • visit from Santa and a photo opportunity.

At 8.45 pm, the Christmas tree will be lit up will be lit up with decorations and fairy lights!
