"Those in power won't tell our stories. We have to tell our own"
Join us tonight from 8pm-8:40pm to hear the stories from six front line workers. Hosting the panel will be MEAA President and former Deputy news director at The Sydney Morning Herald, Marcus Strom.
Sharing our stories grounds us. Hearing others' stories connects us.
Taking action gives us energy.
If when we emerge from this crisis, we want a more fair, just, and sustainable city, it will take all of us.

While Sydney-siders are being told to stay at home and work at home where possible, some are ‘essential’ and continue to operate. For many workers, work that has often been undervalued is now recognised as necessary for our community– and yet working conditions remain precarious.
What is it like to be a frontline worker in these industries during the current shutdown? Join us to hear from six workers who are on the frontlines to hear about their experiences, and have a chance to ask them questions.

Local Organising ConversationsMay 5th-15th
Whether a disaster is natural or economic, we know that two things are critical in a crisis: relationships & coordination. Join a local organising conversation in your neighborhood to support, organise and connect local people and civic leaders.
What's happening "out there", what can we act on together. We start by listening to each other, then organise to meet with local MPs and councilors on the emerging, collective problems we face. Each of us brings different resources and insights to the table.
I'll be going to all of them - so it will be great to meet you in a zoom convo.
Sign up here to join these local leaders already planning on meeting via zoom:
