Dear Members of the Lindsay Healthy Active Living Network,
As we flatten the curve and prepare to relax restrictions, we still face some very tough times from both health and economic perspectives. Locally, we have been hit particularly hard by Coronavirus, and I have been liaising with the Prime Minister and working with Federal Ministers to strongly advocate for our community.
I look forward to returning to Parliament next week where we will pass legislation, including the privacy safeguards around the COVIDSafe App. I encourage everyone to download COVIDSafe as it is so important in helping us get back to the Australia we love and miss.
When I talk to our local community and small businesses, the topic of manufacturing is coming up often. People are wanting a rebalance when it comes to manufacturing in Australia.

LOCAL EDGE IN BRINGING MANUFACTURING BACK
The manufacturing of old has all but diminished as Australia has turned to China for imported products, spurred on by our desire for the cheapest option.

You can read my full Daily Telegraph Op-Ed HERE and as always, I welcome your feedback.
I am looking forward to seeing you when we can come back together and please reach out to me if you need anything.
My very best to you and your families.
