You know, with Mother's Day coming up around the corner, I could listen to 'Hail Mary, Full of Grace' hymn a thousand times, even a million times and I even use it as part of my prayer, To God and Jesus.
I Thank God and Holy mother Mary that I met my grandmother from Czechoslovakia (my Dad's side) and I remember her as if she was right in front of me right now. I see her face so clear and smile that cheeky smile looking straight at my face. She has that glowing light around her.
I thank God and Holy Mother Mary for giving the mother that raised me from a single mother to married mother, who poured out and shared her love to my sister Anne-Marie and me.She didn't not favour any child and always opened her arms to us in what ever we needed, whatever it was. As a mother - she never stopped being a mother to us- she always there to speak to us, listen to us and make sure we we were leading good lives. To me now, she is like a saint, she was a blessed mother, a true beautiful mother. I remember she always made me say my night prayer:
"Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my Soul to keep;
If I should die before I 'wake,
I pray the Lord my Soul to take"
I thank God and Holy Mother Mary for making Nirmala (deceased) a beautiful and inspirational mother to our children Amanda and Alvin. She, that loves her children right from the day they were born, every single day. She cared for them so beautifully that she always hide her motherly pride - yet she was a graceful mother that would still carry her children in her arms today,
I thank God and Holy Mary for giving Debbie a kind nature to always be at the side of her children in all their needs, no matter what. She pours out her love to them right through her life like most women do with that gentle passion. She does it with minimal thought but with the great love of God and with the Holy Spirit though Holy Mary.
I dedicate this Hail Mary, Full of Grace to all women that are mothers with or without fathers/step fathers. To the women who cook, clean the house and tend to their children and guide their children through the right right road of 'life'. To the women right from their child's birth are always at their side. Good shepherd's of God, full of grace.
