Dear All,

The Aussies I speak to are feeling on edge right now.

I don’t need to go over the list of what’s causing the uncertainty and anxiety, because I’m sure you feel it too.

So the last thing they need is for Labor to double down on the biggest reason energy prices are so high: Net Zero.

But that’s what recent reports suggest they’re about to do in the upcoming budget.

It’s more money into making our power grid less reliable, without lowering the cost for you.

And that spending doesn’t just stay in Canberra – it keeps inflation higher and pushes up power bills for Australian families.

But in a story this week, we saw an even darker side to Labor’s Green Dream obsession.

Liam Bartlett from 7NEWS has exposed the Chinese-run mines in Africa where tens of thousands of children are being put to work in disgraceful conditions.

There is nothing green about child labour, but that’s the reality behind parts of the Net Zero supply chain.

These kids are working to extract cobalt, the critical mineral required for almost every part of the Net Zero agenda, including electric vehicles, wind turbines, solar panels, and batteries.

The sheer volume of taxpayer money being sent overseas to these foreign companies is staggering.

And it’s all to make the energy grid worse while doing nothing to save the planet.

This is a scandal and it gives the lie to Labor’s and Albanese’s insistence that this is all about Australian jobs and Australian manufacturing.

Bartlett even talks to a cobalt miner here in Australia who can’t sell his product because the cheap Chinese product has overwhelmed the market.

So much for Australian made!

Liam Bartlett also highlights the widespread damage to our coastlines, farms, and forests, thanks to land clearing to make way for solar and wind farms. Important native ecosystems are being put at risk.

Again, remember this is not helping the planet and it’s not bringing your power prices down.

It’s sending money overseas to Chinese companies that use child labour to build renewable energy equipment that is shipped back to us to be put in farms and forests that won’t grow back again.

This ugliness is the true picture of Net Zero.

Australians are paying more – while being told this is progress.

And Australians deserve better.

Time for REAL solutions.
