Avoid being scammed

In 2024, Australians lost $2.03 billion to scams.   Scams target people from all walks of life and come in many forms – like fake emails, unexpected phone calls or online schemes.  Scammers are always finding new ways to gain your trust and steal your money or personal information.   These 3 simple steps can help keep you safe from scammers:   stop – don't give your money or information to anyone if unsure check – make sure the person or organisation you are dealing with is real protect – act quickly if something feels wrong.   If you do spot a scam, report it.

Healthy smiles at no cost for eligible children Free dental care is available for eligible under 18’s at most private dentists and all public dental clinics through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).  Even if your child is not eligible for CDBS, has used up their full CDBS amount or needs treatment that isn’t covered, there are still no costs for care at NSW public dental clinics.

New active and creative kids voucher now available  If your household’s eligible, you can apply for Voucher 2 to help pay for a sport, creative or cultural activity for your child. You can also apply for Voucher 1 if you haven’t already. And if you haven’t used any vouchers this year, you can combine Voucher 1 and Voucher 2, giving you a total of $100 to use with a registered provider before 31 December 2025.
