Shoalhaven Tourism Update

Shoalhaven

Many Experiences, One Destination

Autumn in Shoalhaven

Walks, Wine, Whales and Award-Winning Towns

The weather is cooling down, but Shoalhaven is filled with cosy corners and winding trails perfect for exploring. There are 80+ events happening across the region as part of the Shoalhaven Food Network’s Autumn Celebration of Food, there’s something to tickle every tastebud. Our favourite passing parade is about to begin, with the change of season signalling the start of the annual whale migration north to warmer waters – whether you’re wanting to get on the water, in the water, or whale watch from afar you’ll find the perfect perch in Shoalhaven.  Autumn brings ample opportunity to settle into slowness, with wellness activities across Shoalhaven’s 50 towns and villages. Mother’s Day is just around the corner and Shop Shoalhaven has a range of local products and gift hampers – the perfect present for mum. Huskisson is once again in the running for NSW’s Top Tiny Tourism Town, and we’re down to the final days of voting, but we need your help. Whether you’ve been a longtime lover of Huskisson, or it’s still on your wish list, we certainly think it’s deserving of the title. Shoalhaven Wellness

From wild swimming and winding bush trails to steaming saunas and indulgent experiences, Shoalhaven is a haven for wellness.

Whale Watching Guide

With 100s of kilometres of coastline, there is no shortage of vantage points to take in the passing parade. Whether you’re wanting to watch from afar, or get up close and personal with these majestic mammals, Shoalhaven’s the place to be.

Autumn Eats

Hatted restaurants, paddock-to-plate produce and quaint country cafes are just a few of the reasons to visit Shoalhaven this May, as well as a whole menu of foodie events across the region this month.

Wild Walks

Lace up your boots and hit the trails. From beachside strolls to hours of uninterrupted wilderness, Shoalhaven’s the place to find your pace.
