Hello John
The new Brighter Beginnings Parent and Carer Information Hub provides access to services and resources to support families during the first 5 years of a child's life, from pregnancy through to the start of primary school.
The Hub outlines the services, payments and rebates offered by government departments, and the support available from non-profit organisations.
There are also resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, and links to support for children, parents and carers with disability.

Because 1 in 5 live with disability
The next time you’re in one of our service centres, look for our team members wearing a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Supporter pin. It shows they’re trained to give extra time, support and understanding to customers living with disability.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is an icon recognised internationally. It allows people to discreetly tell you that they have disability or a condition that isn’t immediately obvious.
Get away to Wombeyan Caves
If you’re looking for something different to do these school holidays, visit Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve.
Newly upgraded and re-opened, it’s home to some of NSW’s most spectacular caves, and now features a unique wheelchair-accessible viewing platform to take in the amazing views inside Victoria Arch.
Located southwest of Sydney and halfway to Canberra, you can:
take guided and self-guided cave tours
camp or stay in cosy cabins
picnic with the kangaroos
visit neighbouring villages.
Road safety never takes a holiday
Holiday traffic jams are almost impossible to avoid, but there are things you can do to reduce your chances of being in a car crash. Here are the top 3 tips:
stay under the speed limit and further reduce your speed at night, early morning and in wet weather conditions
keep a 3-second gap from the car in front
when you feel tired, take a break or swap drivers.

Help design the path we take to Net Zero emissions
We’re in the process of writing the Net Zero Roadmap 2024-2030 for NSW Health.
This will be our 6-year plan for how our healthcare system will operate sustainably, reduce its carbon footprint, and contribute to achieving the government’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.
The plan will affect everyone in NSW, so it’s important we know your views and ideas so we can factor them in.
Staying safe online Tips for customers
Know where you’ll be taken before you click
Shortened web addresses in emails are common because they’re convenient and easy to read. But it’s still wise to hover over them first, to expand each link to see the full website address.
Seeing a link’s address in full can help you decide if it’s safe to click.
