September marks an important month for us
as we approach World Suicide Prevention Day
on Sunday, 10 September. Throughout the month,
we have an opportunity to raise awareness,
educate ourselves, and foster a community
that prioritises help seeking and mental well-being.
It is crucial to recognise that each and every
one of us has a role to play in preventing
suicide. Whether you are a friend, a family
member, a co-worker, or community
member, your support and understanding
can make a difference.
We're holding a number of paid courses
over September and October (Mental Health Month)
to help raise awareness and funds for our service.
All funds from our workshops help to support the
delivery of our life-saving services in the Illawarra,
Shoalhaven and South Coast.
