Way Ahead - October 'Mental Health Month'

This has been referred from SSPAN:

The final week of Mental Health Month 2022 is upon us and we are so incredibly proud of all the work we have done to help NSW Tune In this October. If you haven’t gotten involved, don’t worry! There is still time! Find all the ways you can still Tune In this Mental Health Month below.

Tune In to yourself and others

Our Tune In Toolkit has everything you need to Tune In to yourself including interactive activities!

Mental Health Support

Looking for mental health information and support but don’t know where to start? Check out our Mental Health Directory

Anxiety Support

If you’re struggling with anxiety and don’t know where to turn for support, we have some good news for you. You’re not alone! There’s a safe space where you can share your experiences, get advice from others who are going through similar experiences, and learn ways to manage your anxiety.

Tune In to Hope and Learning

As a Mental Health Ally you can shift the world to be safer and more supportive for people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

Small Steps Program

Are you a parent and or teacher and would like to learn more about anxiety disorders  in children?

Our Small Steps program is aimed at raising awareness and improving the recognition of anxiety disorders in children.

We do this by providing information sessions for primary school staff (teachers, principals, administrative staff) and parents. For more information email

smallsteps@wayahead.org.au  or phone (02) 9339 6003

Bring Mental Health Month into your classroom!

This year we are proud to announce our partnership with NSW Department of Education for this new program targeting NSW schools. The school pack will be available to over 2,200 schools in NSW. This collaboration brings Mental Health Month into school communities, and encourages, educators and students to Tune In and learn more about mental health and challenge stigma.
