I'd like to advise that Jervis Bay Brewing Co has organised a 'meet the candidates' night for Ward 2 council candidates on Wednesday 11th August starting at 5pm.
We're inviting the public (we're particularly keen to get younger people, but this is notoriously hard!) to come along and share their vision, hopes and - perhaps - frustrations with those who seek to represent the community following the September elections.
We will allow each candidate a couple of minutes to outline their vision should they be elected, then we will shift the flow of conversation so that the public has the opportunity to raise issues that are important to them. For those that can't attend, they can email or direct message a question that I will ask should time allow.
Thus far we have had attendance confirmed by Labor, The Greens and Shoalhaven Independents.
