The massed pipes & drums march off at the close of the 2019 Drumtochty Highland Games in the grounds of Drumtochty Castle in Auchenblae, Aberdeenshire Scotland. This year's Chieftain was Richard Paterson, master Whisky blender, distiller, author and expert for Whyte & Mackay. Led by leading Drum Major Walter Davidson the bands taking part were Lonach Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Towie Pipe Band, Newtonhill Pipeband and the Howe O' The Mearns Pipe Band.
