Catholic Masses - Parishioners Attendances Can Reach 50 this week - Bishop of Wollongong Diocese

It is pleasing to note that people can go back to church now, on the direction of Bishop Brian Mascord. In the Diocese of Wollongong, up to 50 parishioners can attend mass. So there is a roster of maximum 50 people invited to attend each of the 4 masses over the weekend, in my new parish of Holy Spirit, Vincentia.

God works in mysterious ways as I was previously attending Holy Family, Emerton and now attending Holy Spirit. What message is sending to me? I'll let you work that out.

I do miss the Bishop Brian Mascord's he has held since churches/parishes were close when we were all affected by Coronavirus COVID-19. I have never been to mass with a blanket over me, whilst watching on television. All these masses and the St Marys Cathedral Easter mass was so spiritual for me. The online masses have been produced with a great spiritual quality.

Last week, we were allowed only 10 parishioners at each mass of 4 masses and it was the first time, I was asked to do the readings. It's funny, I felt like I was reading in front of 300 people and yet, it wasn't to be. I did feel privileged out 200 parishioners to be asked to be one of the first 10 parishioners, for one mass.

Check your own parish, for masses this weekend!
